Description
This fellowship is designed to retain and support top-tier clinical and non-clinical researchers in biomedical dementia research who are transitioning to lead their own independent research groups. The scheme provides funding for salary, support staff, and research costs, with the goal of enabling fellows to become internationally recognised leaders in their field. Institutional commitment, such as university funding or consideration for tenured appointments after the fellowship, is encouraged. The review process includes scientific peer review, lived experience review by people affected by dementia, and an interview stage.
