Description
The Senior Scholar Release Program is an annual internal funding initiative at John Jay College of Criminal Justice. It is designed to support tenured Associate Professors and full Professors who are pursuing major scholarly or creative projects and lack other sources of course release. The program provides release from teaching duties, enabling faculty to focus on significant, high-level academic or creative work. Applications are reviewed by the Research Advisory Council, and awards are exclusively for course release time to facilitate impactful scholarly outcomes.
