    Description

Senior Thesis Funding is part of Brandeis University’s Provost’s Undergraduate Research Fund, which supports undergraduate research and creative scholarship during the summer or academic semester. The thesis-focused award provides limited expense-based funding for seniors writing senior theses. Projects in all disciplines are supported, including the creative arts, humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, and interdisciplinary fields.

Funding helps students carry out research or creative work rather than cover the standard costs of copying and binding a completed thesis. Eligible expenses can include research supplies, equipment, compensation for interviewees on IRB-approved projects, and costs associated with research at an off-campus site. Each project must be overseen by a Brandeis faculty mentor. The Undergraduate Research and Creative Collaborations Office (URCC) is the contact for questions about these awards.
