The Society for Environmental, Population, and Conservation Psychology (SEPCP), APA Division 34, supports innovative teaching activities that advance educational outcomes in environmental, population, or conservation psychology. The grant is intended for under-resourced educators who might otherwise lack access to teaching-development resources. Projects may serve undergraduate or graduate education.
Supported activities include creating new assignments, acquiring materials, developing educational resources, and covering service-learning travel expenses. The program values creative approaches that enhance student engagement, offer clear pedagogical outcomes, and can be scaled or used across settings. Outcomes may include stronger critical-thinking, presentation, or writing skills. SEPCP especially encourages unique and timely teaching activities involving underrepresented institutions, graduate students, and junior scholars.
