Description
The Vermont Agency of Agriculture, Food and Markets offers this grant through its Working Lands Enterprise Initiative. It funds service providers that deliver direct business support to Vermont agriculture and forestry businesses, and producer associations that support their members or develop their own organizations. The initiative aims to strengthen a resilient, sustainable farm, food, and forest economy.
Eligible services include market and sales planning, financial planning, disaster preparedness, succession planning, access to capital, manufacturing efficiencies, research and development, and workforce development. Association-development projects can address leadership and board capacity, membership outreach and skills, digital resources, or collaboration between associations.
