Description
This award recognizes and supports full-time graduate students whose research advances the mission of ASHRAE in HVAC&R (heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration) and the built environment. The program not only funds innovative technical research in areas such as building energy use and indoor environmental quality, but also strongly encourages recipients to engage in ASHRAE activities, present or publish research through ASHRAE channels, and contribute to the society’s leadership and service goals. The award is designed to foster both academic excellence and future leadership in building sciences.
