Description
The Vermont Department for Children and Families’ Office of Economic Opportunity administers the Vermont Homelessness Response Continuum (VHRC). This funding increases case management capacity for households enrolled in Level 4 who are not already receiving supportive services. The continuum prioritizes early intervention, rapid resolution of housing crises, and equitable access to emergency and permanent housing.
Funded services include assessing household needs, developing individualized housing plans, housing navigation, help applying for financial assistance, and connections to benefits and other supports identified in those plans. The office seeks capacity across Vermont’s local housing coalition and Continuum of Care regions. This is a standalone notice for the remainder of state fiscal year 2027; agencies funded this year will need to apply again for VHRC services in SFY28.
