Description
The Community Foundation for Southern Arizona administers these grants through the Shaaron Kent Endowment Fund. The program supports end-of-life care services and diverse projects and perspectives that explore the universal experiences of death, dying, and grieving.
Established in 2012, the endowment honors Kent’s wishes following her sudden death. A portion of her estate came to the foundation to support three areas she cared deeply about, including end-of-life care services. The fund reflects her generosity toward people with fewer means and her embrace of the cultural expressions of her adopted home in Mexico.
