Shaping Tomorrow Grants are part of the Erie Community Foundation’s Community Impact Grant Programs. They support nonprofit programs, projects, and initiatives that respond to community-identified needs in Erie County, advance the Foundation’s strategic goals, and align with its vision of a united, vibrant, and thriving region for all. Inclusive, equitable, and collective-impact approaches are central to the program.
Grantmaking generally focuses on health, education, economic growth, neighborhood and community development, and regional vitality. These priorities encompass physical and mental wellbeing, academic achievement and social development, workforce and career opportunities, neighborhood revitalization and affordable housing, and the region’s arts, culture, history, and natural assets.
