Description
The Share with Wildlife program, managed by the New Mexico Department of Game & Fish, funds projects that support the conservation, research, education, and rehabilitation of New Mexico’s non-game wildlife species—those not typically hunted, fished, or trapped. The program seeks to enhance understanding, stewardship, and management of native wildlife, especially Species of Greatest Conservation Need (SGCN), as identified in the New Mexico State Wildlife Action Plan (SWAP). Projects may address habitat restoration, ecological research, wildlife rehabilitation, or educational initiatives that benefit wildlife and their habitats throughout New Mexico.
