Description
The Community Foundation of Greater Huntsville runs the annual Share Your Story Video Grant to mobilize generosity for local nonprofits. Organizations tell their stories in videos of 60 seconds or less, showing the impact of their work. The challenge has a new theme each year; the 2026 theme was “Small Nonprofits Making an Outsized Impact.”
The foundation’s Grants Committee selects videos for a donor catalog. Donors can watch them, learn about the organizations, and co-invest in their work. Organizations receive grants after the catalog closes. In 2025, the challenge focused on engaging families in strategic generosity, with selected videos included in the foundation’s Family Philanthropy Initiative.
