Description
The Shared Technology Awards program at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) is designed to facilitate the acquisition of large, shared equipment or integrated systems that can be utilized by multiple investigators. The program aims to expand access to advanced research technologies and data hardware, fostering collaborative research and enhancing the campus-wide research infrastructure. Preference is given to proposals for equipment placed in shared campus resources (cores), but this is not strictly required. Selection is based on the novelty and campus-wide impact of the technology, the qualifications of the investigators, and the relevance of the research applications.
