Description
The Education Impact Fund supports experimental or transformative approaches to education in MIT’s School of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences (SHASS). Administered by the MIT Human Insight Collaborative (MITHIC), it provides a dedicated funding focus for new educational approaches in SHASS fields, rather than a specified subject area or teaching method.
The fund is one of MITHIC’s three funding pillars within its broader commitment to human-centered research and teaching. MITHIC connects scholars in human-centered disciplines with colleagues across the Institute to address major challenges and educate tomorrow’s leaders. Proposals are welcome for projects ready to begin and for planning grants in preparation for future proposals.
