Description
The MIT Human Insight Collaborative (MITHIC) provides internal funding to support research, teaching, and artistic practices that deepen understanding of human experience and address complex challenges. Through three primary funds—the SHASS+ Connectivity Fund, Humanities Cultivation Fund, and SHASS Education Impact Fund—MITHIC aims to foster interdisciplinary collaboration, advance innovative education, and strengthen the role of the humanities, arts, and social sciences at MIT. Each fund has a specific focus but shares the goal of encouraging bold, systemic, and transferable ideas that can have a broad impact across the Institute and beyond.
