    Description

The Short Industry Fellowship, offered by the Royal Society, supports researchers in the UK—especially those early in their careers—to undertake short-term collaborative projects that bridge academia and industry. The scheme aims to enhance mobility between sectors, foster the development of collaborative links, promote knowledge exchange in science and technology, and support career progression. Fellowships must involve a genuine secondment between a UK-based private industry partner and a UK university or not-for-profit research organisation. Projects should be within the Royal Society’s remit of the natural sciences, including (but not limited to) biological sciences, chemistry, engineering, mathematics, and physics. The program is designed to seed long-term collaborations and welcomes applicants from diverse backgrounds.
