Description
The Folger Shakespeare Library’s Short-term Fellowships are designed to support scholars engaging in focused, primary research projects that utilize the Folger’s world-renowned collections and interdisciplinary programs. Fellowships are available for one, two, or three months and may be conducted onsite in Washington, DC, virtually, or as a hybrid of both formats. The program aims to reduce professional and personal barriers to research by providing flexible participation options and supporting researchers’ diverse needs, including those who cannot travel or require dedicated time to work remotely. Fellows benefit from access to rare materials, digitized resources, and a vibrant scholarly community for feedback and collaboration.
