Description
The Newberry Library Short-Term Fellowships provide scholars and advanced PhD candidates with the opportunity to spend one month in residence at the Newberry Library in Chicago. Fellows conduct intensive research using specific items from the library’s renowned collections, which span fields such as history, literature, cartography, and more. The program is designed to support a wide range of academic disciplines and encourages engagement with primary sources that are often unavailable elsewhere. Fellows become part of a vibrant scholarly community, participating in events and activities at the Newberry.
