Description
The Short-Term Fellowship Program at the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute (STRI) provides funding for researchers to conduct independent, short-term research projects in the tropics. The program is designed primarily for graduate students but is also open to outstanding undergraduate and postdoctoral candidates. Fellows gain hands-on research experience in tropical environments, working under the supervision of STRI scientific staff. Projects may be exploratory, pilot studies, or part of a larger thesis or dissertation.
