Description
Fondazione AIRC per la Ricerca sul Cancro ETS offers Short-term Fellowships for young scientists and physician scientists working in cancer research in Italy. The program supports learning a new technique or acquiring new skills through a visit to a cancer-focused laboratory or hospital abroad, or in a different Italian region from the applicant’s current institution.
The fellowship funds mobility expenses rather than a separate research project. Applicants must propose a cancer-relevant visit plan approved by the heads of both the hosting and originating laboratories, explaining the activities, the knowledge they will gain, and the benefit to their institution of origin. Support is limited to mobility periods totaling one to three months; it cannot partially fund a longer stay.
