Description
The Beinecke Library Fellowship Program at Yale University offers short-term fellowships for projects that substantively engage with Yale Library Special Collections. These awards support academic and independent scholars from around the world undertaking onsite research. Traditional archival and bibliographic research is welcome, alongside creative, interdisciplinary, and non-traditional approaches to working with the collections.
The program aims to facilitate research by the broadest possible group of researchers, regardless of institutional association, race, cultural background, ability, sexual orientation, gender, or socioeconomic status. Projects should demonstrate why access to the collections is essential to the larger research effort and how the proposed work will contribute to the applicant’s field.
