Description
The Short-Term Research Fellowships offered by the New York Public Library (NYPL) provide financial support to scholars, graduate students, independent researchers, and professionals based outside the New York metropolitan area for advanced research in the arts and humanities. These fellowships are intended for projects that require in-person use of NYPL’s extensive and unique collections, which are housed across its three major research centers: the Stephen A. Schwarzman Building, the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture, and the Library for the Performing Arts. The program encourages innovative projects that leverage the depth and breadth of NYPL’s holdings and expert staff.
