Description
The Shovel-Ready (ShoRe) Pilot Grants Program, offered by the DE-CTR ACCEL Program, is designed to help Principal Investigators (PIs) who have submitted substantial research grant applications (e.g., NIH, PCORI, VA, NSF) and received reviewer feedback but were not funded. The program provides targeted funding to collect additional data or perform analyses to address reviewer concerns, thereby strengthening the resubmission of clinical and translational research proposals. Projects must be focused on clinical or translational research and are expected to lead to a new or resubmitted large-scale research grant application.
