Description
Founded in 2017, the Siembra Latinos Fund is an affiliate fund of the Community Foundation for Monterey County that supports positive change in Monterey County’s Latino communities. Its volunteer Advisory Council identifies high-priority community needs and recommends grants to the foundation’s board, which has final authority over funding decisions.
The 2026 grantmaking priorities focus on economic mobility through Latino leadership development, work experience, and education. The fund supports expansion or refinement of existing programs, promising and sustainable new programs, and responses to emergencies or special circumstances. It also offers unrestricted operating support to organizations with a proven record of community benefit.
