Description
This annual grant, offered in partnership by the Sigma Foundation for Nursing and the Hospice and Palliative Nurses Foundation, supports research that advances nursing care at the end of life. The program is designed to encourage pilot and developmental research projects that generate new knowledge or innovative approaches in palliative and hospice nursing. The aim is to foster meaningful advancements in end-of-life care practices through rigorous research, with previous recipients addressing topics such as caregiver readiness, values elicitation, advance care planning, and interventions to improve communication and care transitions.
