The Sigma Pi Sigma Chapter Project Award provides funding to Sigma Pi Sigma chapters for organizing induction ceremonies and chapter events that build community among alumni and new members, raise the profile of Sigma Pi Sigma within the campus and broader physics communities, and add distinction to chapter activities. The program encourages imaginative projects that honor scholarship, promote service, and provide fellowship. Eligible projects include, but are not limited to, induction dinners, alumni engagement events, mentoring programs, community outreach, and activities that recognize outstanding achievement or increase chapter visibility.
Funding may be used for expenses such as transportation, food and non-alcoholic beverages, speaker honoraria, entertainment, decorations, and invitations.
