Description
Sigma Small Grants encourage nurses to contribute to the advancement of nursing through research. Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing administers the program, with annual funding provided by Sigma Foundation for Nursing. Funding decisions consider the quality of the proposed research, the applicant’s future promise, and the research budget.
Applications from novice researchers who have received no other national research funds are encouraged. Projects focused on marginalized populations are strongly encouraged and receive preference when other qualifications are equal. Sigma members also receive preference when other qualifications are equal.
