This opportunity invites applications for Digestive Diseases Research Core Centers (DDRCCs), part of the NIDDK's integrated research support program. The aim is to bring together basic and clinical investigators to enhance communication, collaboration, and effectiveness in research related to digestive and/or liver diseases. Each DDRCC must be organized around a central theme aligned with the NIDDK's mission, with shared resources (cores) provided to foster synergy and new research directions among funded investigators. The program is designed to support institutions with a strong, ongoing research base in digestive or liver diseases.
