Description
The Singapore–Southeast Asia Fellowship (S-SEAF) is designed to strengthen research networks between Singapore and Southeast Asia by supporting two-way talent mobility, knowledge exchange, and collaborative research. The program funds research stints of up to two years for both inbound fellows (ASEAN nationals to Singapore) and outbound fellows (Singapore-based researchers to Southeast Asian institutions). Supported research themes include infectious diseases (anchor theme), climate and environmental resilience, and other annually identified areas, with proposals welcome across the four Research, Innovation and Enterprise (RIE) domains: Manufacturing, Trade and Connectivity; Human Health and Potential; Urban Solutions and Sustainability; and Smart Nation and Digital Economy. Fellows are expected to actively contribute to research, collaboration, and institutional activities, upholding research integrity and compliance.
