Description
This forecasted opportunity will provide continued funding for the Institutional Development Award (IDeA) Clinical Research Resource Center (I-CRRC). The program aims to strengthen clinical and translational research capacity in states that have historically received low levels of NIH funding. The I-CRRC focuses on increasing the number and quality of clinical trials and complex observational studies in IDeA states by:
- Addressing research design and compliance barriers
- Fostering communication and collaborations between health research institutions and clinical trial sponsors
- Training clinical research coordinators and providing professional development for staff and investigators
- Building real-world data research infrastructure to support multi-site clinical trials and practice-based research networks
