Description
This opportunity supports the Institutional Development Award (IDeA) Clinical Research Resource Center (I-CRRC), which aims to enhance clinical and translational research capacity in states that have historically received low levels of NIH funding ("IDeA states"). The program specifically seeks to:
- Address barriers to conducting clinical trials and complex observational studies,
- Strengthen collaboration and communication between IDeA state research institutions and clinical trial sponsors,
- Train and develop clinical research coordinators,
- Provide professional development and research methodology training,
- Build real-world data research infrastructure to support practice-based research networks, community clinics, and multi-site clinical trials.
