Description
This funding opportunity is a single-source competition to support the continuation and completion of the scientific objectives for the ongoing DISCOVERY of Risk Factors for Type 2 Diabetes in Youth Study. The study is a multi-center longitudinal consortium across 19 clinical sites, focused on identifying risk factors and biological mechanisms that drive the progression to youth-onset type 2 diabetes. The Biostatistics Research Center (BRC) serves as the central coordinating center, responsible for protocol implementation, data management, quality assurance, statistical design and analysis, and coordination across sites. This solicitation aims to ensure the robust infrastructure and standardized processes are maintained to preserve the integrity of the longitudinal dataset and accomplish the consortium’s research goals.
