This award honors one outstanding interventional radiology resident each year who demonstrates exceptional dedication to advancing clinical skills during their early postgraduate years (PGY-2 to PGY-4). The aim is to highlight and encourage strong clinical integration and excellence throughout residency, beyond technical or diagnostic radiology achievements. The recipient is recognized within the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR) community, including the Association of Program Directors in Interventional Radiology (APDIR) and the Resident, Fellow and Student Section (RFS), and is presented with a plaque or trophy at the SIR Annual Scientific Meeting. There is no monetary component or travel funding associated with this award.
