    Description

    The Sister M. Claude Lane, O.P., Memorial Award honors an individual archivist who has made a significant contribution to the field of religious archives. Established in 1974 and named for the first professionally trained archivist at the Catholic Archives of Texas, the award recognizes involvement in the Society of American Archivists’ Archivists of Religious Collections Section, contributions to archival literature related to religious archives, leadership in religious archives organizations, and/or demonstrated leadership within a specific religious archives. The prize is funded by the Society of Southwest Archivists.
