Description
The Minnesota Department of Health administers the Site-Based Clinical Training Grant Program to support clinical health care training in Minnesota. First funded in fiscal year (FY) 2024, the program awards funding for training that has already taken place rather than proposed future work. FY 2027 funding is based on clinical training conducted in FY 2025.
The Commissioner’s priorities for the FY 2027 cycle are rural primary care and oral health training at both rural and urban sites. Primary care designations use FY 2025 data submitted by Minnesota teaching programs to the Medical Education and Research Costs (MERC) program.
