Description
Administered by Suffolk Community Foundation, the Sizewell C Community Fund supports projects benefiting communities in the East Suffolk Council area affected by construction of the nuclear power station. Large Grants address economic, environmental and social needs arising from, or exacerbated by, construction, improving residents’ quality of life and wellbeing.
Priority goes to communities closest to development and associated activity sites, particularly within 5km, and projects demonstrating significant construction-related needs, strong local connections and community support. The fund seeks inclusive, good-value work that brings people together and creates a sustainable legacy. Research, feasibility studies and consultation can qualify where prior groundwork establishes construction-related impact and need, with a clear plan to deliver a project based on the findings.
