Description
Administered by Suffolk Community Foundation, Small Grants supports projects that reduce Sizewell C construction impacts on East Suffolk communities, improve residents’ quality of life and wellbeing, and create a sustainable community legacy. Priority goes to communities closest to development and activity sites, particularly within 5km, and projects demonstrating significant construction-related needs, wider community support and lasting benefits.
Funding supports project delivery and the groundwork needed to develop projects. Feasibility studies, research, consultation and engagement are eligible where construction-related impact and need are established and there is a clear plan to deliver a project based on the findings. The fund responds as construction affects different communities at different times, supporting inclusive activities that bring people together and reduce longer-term effects.
