Description
The Skoll Foundation presents the Skoll Awards for Social Innovation annually to a select group of social innovators whose work addresses the root causes of societal problems. The awards recognize novel or reimagined solutions that have already demonstrated significant impact and are poised for accelerated, system-level change—not new or concept-stage ideas.
Supported work can disrupt unjust power dynamics, change attitudes and behaviors, mobilize movements, or improve services, policies, and practices. Alongside unrestricted funding, Awardees gain long-term participation in a global community of leaders and innovators, with opportunities for collaboration and access to media, fundraising opportunities, and other resources. Fewer than 10 Awardees are selected each year.
