Description
The Sleep Medicine Fellowship at Mayo Clinic's Jacksonville, Florida campus, is a one-year, full-time program designed for physicians seeking advanced clinical and research training in sleep medicine. The fellowship provides comprehensive exposure to the diagnosis and management of a wide spectrum of adult and pediatric sleep disorders, including hands-on experience with state-of-the-art diagnostic technologies such as polysomnography, home sleep testing, and actigraphy. Fellows participate in outpatient practice, consultative services, and are required to complete and present a clinical research project at a national meeting. The program is accredited by the ACGME and prepares graduates to direct sleep disorder centers, pursue academic careers, and sit for the Sleep Medicine Certification Exam.
