Description
The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) funds organizations that help traditional small businesses across Wisconsin, rather than making grants directly to those businesses. The program supports project-specific costs of technical assistance at any stage of a business’s life cycle, with the goal of increasing small business activity and strengthening local entrepreneurial networks.
Projects may provide hands-on mentorship, educational programming, leadership training, community building, networking events, or business development strategies. Eligible project costs include operational and consulting expenses directly related to that assistance. The grant is competitive, and individual rounds may focus on particular themes, existing programs, or pilot programs.
