The U.S. Department of Transportation’s Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) funds the establishment and operation of the Region 1 Small Business Transportation Technical Assistance Center (SBTTAC), formerly known as the Small Business Transportation Resource Center. The center will strengthen small businesses’ capacity, competitiveness, and readiness to compete for and perform federal, state, local, and private transportation contracts.
The recipient will operate a coordinated, multi-state service delivery system offering individualized counseling, training, capital access and bonding assistance, outreach, and referrals to USDOT’s National Bonding Education Program. Services cover Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Vermont.
