Description
The Ohio Department of Transportation’s Small City Program provides federal funding for roadway and signal projects on the Federal-aid system in eligible Ohio small cities. It can support any type of roadway or signal project on that system, but its funding is limited to construction and associated construction engineering, such as testing and inspection.
ODOT establishes the program’s allocation, and its Office of Local Programs administers it. The program is intended to help participating cities carry eligible projects through construction. The city must demonstrate that it can oversee its project through completion.
