Description
The Council for European Studies (CES) Small Event Grants program funds small-scale academic events—such as workshops, lectures, symposia, film screenings, and book panels—that share recent research on Europe with a broader community. The grant aims to foster academic exchange, promote innovative gatherings, and connect scholars with the public, thereby expanding the reach and impact of European studies.
CES provides both financial support and event promotion, encouraging activities that highlight European research within and beyond academic circles. Events may be affiliated with CES’s International Conference of Europeanists, but preference is given to unaffiliated events.
