Small Event Grants support faculty, administrators, and students at Council for European Studies member institutions to host events that share recent research on Europe with a wider community.

Description
The Council for European Studies (CES) supports workshops, lectures, symposia, film screenings, book panels, and other small events that share recent research on Europe with a wider community. The program funds events during the spring and fall semesters and provides promotional support to events it funds in full or in part.
A multidisciplinary committee selects awards based on proposed budgets and available funds. Events connected to CES’s International Conference of Europeanists may be considered, but CES gives preference to events outside the conference. Funded institutions must identify CES at Temple University as an event sponsor and provide an audio-visual or other record of the event.
