Description
The Oregon Watershed Enhancement Board (OWEB) funds on-the-ground restoration through its competitive Small Grant Program. Projects are carried out principally on private lands across Oregon and aim to improve water quality, water quantity, and fish and wildlife habitat. The program emphasizes proven, technically sound approaches that address the sources of watershed problems, giving local teams a way to act sooner than under OWEB’s regular grant program.
Eligible work includes fish passage, streamside and wetland restoration, erosion reduction, stormwater treatment, and irrigation efficiency. A separate Small Grant Team Contact offering supports outreach to new team members and potential applicants, as well as the local review of project applications.
