Description
The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven’s Small Grants program supports nonprofit organizations based in and serving its fifteen-town Greater New Haven region. Funding helps organizations deliver specific programs, strengthen their infrastructure, or sustain their overall mission and operations. The program serves organizations with operating budgets between $10,000 and $1.5 million in their most recently completed fiscal year.
Program support can fund new or existing activities. Capacity-building support provides short-term assistance for long-term organizational strength, including board development, strategic planning, evaluation, equipment, building renovations, and relocation. General operating support gives nonprofits flexibility to direct resources where they are most needed, rather than restricting funding to a particular program.
