Description
North Carolina Humanities’ Small Project Grants are designed to support the implementation of humanities-focused projects across the state. The program encourages nonprofits to create public initiatives—such as lecture and discussion series, exhibitions, presentations, and workshops—that foster dialogue, contextualize experiences, and connect people within their communities. Projects should deepen human connections, broaden perspectives, and inspire understanding and respect among North Carolinians. Examples include oral history collections, community conversations, educator workshops, and other activities that use the humanities to spark reflection and meaningful learning.
