Key Information: Only state and local REALTOR® associations may apply, and initiatives must align with at least two Smart Growth Principles.
Description
The National Association of Realtors’ Smart Growth Grant supports state and local REALTOR® associations in advancing programs, policies, and initiatives that improve community land use, growth, and transportation. The program funds education for REALTORS® and community stakeholders, engagement with elected officials on local policy, and comprehensive initiatives designed to create lasting community impact.
Three funding levels support different scopes of work. Level 1 covers classes, forums, expert speakers, and coalition-building meetings. Level 2 supports community planning, comprehensive plans, zoning policies, studies, research, and reports. Level 3 supports broader initiatives with significant REALTOR® involvement and public and private partners, connecting project outcomes to advocacy efforts.
