Description
The National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) offers Smart Growth Grants through its Community Development Advocacy Program to help state and local REALTOR® associations advocate for stronger, more livable communities. The grants support programs, policies, and initiatives grounded in the Smart Growth Principles, including walkability, transportation choice, mixed-use development, and efficient land use.
Funding progresses from education and stakeholder convening to collaborative problem-solving and comprehensive community initiatives. Supported work can include workshops, studies, outreach campaigns, community visioning, and growth polling. The program connects community planning priorities with association-led advocacy, helping REALTORS® strengthen partnerships and find solutions to local challenges.
