NAR’s Community Development Advocacy Grants fund REALTOR® associations' research-driven initiatives in housing, smart growth, placemaking, fair housing, and rural outreach to strengthen local communities.

Funding Amounts: Up to $15,000 per grant; three grant levels ($3,000, $7,500, $15,000); one grant per level per association per year.
Summary: Supports state and local REALTOR® associations in leading advocacy, education, and community initiatives addressing housing, fair housing, placemaking, rural outreach, and smart growth.
Key Information: Only state and local REALTOR® associations may apply; all grant-funded activities must be completed in 2026.
Description
The Community Development Advocacy Grants program, offered by the National Association of Realtors (NAR), empowers state and local REALTOR® associations to drive positive change in their communities. Grants support advocacy, education, outreach, and engagement projects in five focus areas: housing opportunity, smart growth, placemaking, fair housing, and rural outreach. The program encourages associations to address local challenges, build partnerships, and implement solutions that foster vibrant, inclusive, and resilient communities. Funding is available at three levels, allowing associations to start with educational activities and progress to broader, community-impact initiatives.
