Description
SmART Ventures is a small, flexible grant from the Seattle Office of Arts and Culture for arts and cultural projects, opportunities, and events in Seattle. It offers start-up money or a final investment to help individuals, organizations, and community groups bring work to the public. Projects may include performances, exhibitions, workshops, and community events.
The program aims to widen participation in arts and culture, especially for diverse or underserved communities and for people and groups that may not fit the office’s other funding programs. Priority consideration goes to projects serving or representing underserved communities, or falling outside the scope of other office programs.
