Description
The Snave Foundation Major Grant supports not-for-profit educational institutions and charitable organizations in the United States whose organizations, programs, and services practice or reflect the ideals, values, and standards of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers). The Foundation is a private, family-run charitable organization established in 1988 by Anne and J. Morris Evans.
Originality and innovation are central priorities. Supported work includes libraries, building or renovation projects, scholarships, outreach programs, and special designated purposes. The Foundation particularly prioritizes programs serving people who are poor and/or elderly through new or expanded services in their homes and communities. The Major Grant program requires family sponsorship and a written application, with pre-qualification before the full application.
