Key Information: Applicants must be SOAP members in good standing.
The Society for Obstetric Anesthesia and Perinatology (SOAP) offers this grant to support participation in international outreach projects and encourage research in collaboration with host countries. Funding reimburses travel and related expenses for work in a country where Kybele or another outreach program targeting obstetric anesthesia is operating.
Research may address clinical studies, public health policy, database formation, or infrastructure improvement. Applicants may have a specific project in mind or may still be developing their plans. Host-country collaborators are expected to play a substantial role in shaping the final project design. The program connects outreach participation with collaborative research, annual progress reporting, and submission of resulting work for presentation at a SOAP Annual Meeting.
