Description
The Council on Undergraduate Research’s Social Sciences Division offers conference awards to help undergraduates present research they have conducted at national or international, discipline-specific meetings, in person or virtually. The current awards cover presentations during the 2026–2027 academic year. Eligible research examines society and how people behave and influence the world around them, using empirical, quantitative, or qualitative methods.
The division aims to expand undergraduate participation in research and disciplinary meetings, particularly for students from traditionally underrepresented groups and institutions not traditionally associated with undergraduate research. Both individual and group research presentations are eligible.
