    Description

The Society for Endocrinology’s Travel Grant supports members attending endocrine conferences and educational meetings to further their professional development. Funding covers attendance at the Society’s own events and a limited number of overseas endocrinology events. Overseas applicants must demonstrate added value through additional work-related activities, such as laboratory or hospital visits, departmental seminars, research discussions, lectures, or conference speaking and chairing roles.

The program focuses on the academic and professional benefit of attendance to the applicant and the wider endocrine community, rather than funding a standalone research project. Applications are highly competitive and assessed by the Society’s Grants Committee, with particular emphasis on benefit to the applicant and the appropriateness of costs.
